Walk-athon Winners Announced!
Dear Wolfpack,

Thank you once again to all students and families who collected donations for the Earth Day Walk-athon. The fundraising portal is now closed and you raised a grand total of $5,457.75! This will go towards the final amount that PTSA gives back to the school at the end of the year to share across the academies. See below for the top earning winners! 

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10 and PTSA/FoR are planning to show our teachers some love. If you are able to donate see below for details and a huge thank you to those who have already contributed. 

SBAC testing starts this week so try to get a good nights sleep.

This week's highlights:

  • Wednesday, 5/1 - SBAC ELA Testing, dismissal at 2:03pm
  • Wednesday, 5/1 - 8th Grade Awards Night (by invitation)
  • Thursday, 5/2 - SBAC ELA Testing, dismissal at 2:03pm
  • Thursday, 5/2 - Region North Town Hall - Student Safety (flyer below)
  • Friday, 5/3 - SBAC ELA Testing, progress reports, dismissal at 2:03pm

Region North Town Hall
STUDENT SAFETY TOWN HALL FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES Thursday (5/2)

LAUSD's Region North is having a town hall for families focused on student safety. All are welcome to attend as they discuss important matters related to our students’ well-being.

Town Hall Details:

      • Date: May 2, 2024

      • Time: 6:00pm- 7:30pm

      • Location: Patrick Henry MS

      • Address: 17340 San Jose St Granada Hills, 91344

They look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions. Supervision for school-age children will be provided by Beyond the Bell. Light refreshments and translation will be available.

We will be in touch via the parent registered email to confirm prize choice and arrange collection. This will be done in the order the students are listed ie. #1 will get 1st choice, #2 second choice and so on.

The Reed Staff Lounge is Maintained 100% Through Donations

We like to keep our wonderful Reed staff fully stocked with coffee and tea supplies in their Staff Lounge, but we rely on donations to keep it going!
