We are still looking for a parent representative for our Global Leadership Academy

Parent Academy Rep duties include attending one FoR/PTSA meeting/month (Wednesday evenings at 7pm) and helping to communicate and coordinate with your academy on one school-wide fundraising event or initiative, co-hosted by PTSA. Last year the GLA event was incredible and the teachers are so excited to recreate it!

Volunteers must be approved YEARLY. So if you were an approved volunteer you need to renew your application, or if you are new to volunteering you must complete the application for the first time!

All volunteers must be approved (including proof of vaccination) if you want to be able to help out with in-person events.

Your opinion matters! Participating in the School Experience Survey will give you an opportunity to tell LAUSD what you think of our school. It will also help guide us in making necessary improvements. Please visit http://achieve.lausd.net/schoolexperiencesurvey or reedms.com to access the survey– it’s easy and takes only a few minutes! Select “Parent Survey”, choose the “School Type - Middle School”, choose the “School Name - Reed MS (8355)” and choose your child’s grade level 6th, 7th, or 8th to begin. At the end of the survey, you can enter an email address to receive a confirmation email, print the thank you page, or take a picture of your screen to upload to your child's HOMEROOM (HR) class on Schoology. Submitting your confirmation of completion will enter your child into a drawing for gift cards and, if their HR has 100% participation, they will also be in a drawing for a chance to have a donut party! 3. If you don't, then Login or Register for an account to subscribe to Reed News, access upcoming calendar events, make purchases, sign up to volunteer and much, much more.
