Annual Giving is the crucial fundraiser for Friends of Reed (FoR) -- a non-profit group that works cooperatively with Walter Reed ASB, PTSA, FIHP, and the Walter Reed administration to support Reed's mission "To foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging school culture where students and staff feel safe, supported, and motivated to do their best."
We rely on your generous 100% tax deductible annual giving donations to support the programs and community support that have helped earn Reed a California Distinguished School designation--And that have helped our incredible faculty and administration lead your kids to a 33-point improvement in SBAC scores across English, Math, and Science this last year (best improvement in our 5-school local network of LAUSD middle schools).
Specifically, Annual Giving funds will support enrichment programs, field trips, additional support staff, state-of-the-art educational student projects, our wonderful library, Academy needs, and campus beautification. These all contribute to our students feeling safe, supported, and motivated to do their best!
