Middle school is a charming, perplexing, frustrating, wonderful time in life. One of our top goals is to bring Walter Reed families together in fun ways that support students, families and school during this critical time. Here are some of the ways we hope to do that this year. Teacher Staff Appreciation

PTSA & FoR LOVE our teachers and staff at Reed MS, and it is fun to treat them from time to time! If you love delighting and encouraging the people who invest in our kids every day, this is a great place for you to help!

8th Grade Committee / Jr. Grad Night

They've worked so hard to get to this point! Now it's time to celebrate with some fun! 8th Grade Grad Night is sponsored by FoR and is a NON-LAUSD SPONSORED event. More details will go home to 8th grade families in the late fall/early spring.

 

If you would like to be involved in planning Jr. Grad Night, as well as the 8th grade dance and Fun Day, please let us know!

PTSA DEI Program

This committee will work to identify and make recommendations to the Board about how to increase diversity of representation in our members and leadership, ensure equitable fairness in resources and funding of programs, and inform inclusive practices that make our community and students feel safe and welcome. The committee will also collaborate with student clubs and groups to see how PTSA can help advance the work they are already doing on these subjects within the student population.
