FIHP, the Friends of the Individualized Honors Program at Walter Reed Middle School, is a 501(c)3 fundraising booster that supports IHP students at every grade level. The IHP program is the oldest continuous program for highly gifted middle school students in LAUSD (founded in 1970).

FIHP focuses its support on this program and its families, while also working cooperatively with PTSA, Friends of Reed, and other school-wide groups that operate separately to benefit all Walter Reed students.
