Become an LAUSD Approved Volunteer

Be sure to get your LAUSD volunteer status processed or renewed! Volunteers must be approved YEARLY. So if you were an approved volunteer you need to renew your application, or if you are new to volunteering you must complete the application for the first time!

All volunteers must be approved (including proof of vaccination) if you want to be able to help out with in-person events during school hours.

Please note that going forward LAUSD requires ALL volunteers to be fully approved through the district application process. There will be no more one time volunteer approvals.

Learn about requirements and how the process works here.

Start the process here.

If you need any help with your application please contact wrmsptsapres@gmail.com

Take Action to Improve School Safety!
Request a Crossing Guard!

At the Team Reed monthly meeting on September 20, it was brought to our attention that a crossing guard is urgently needed for the pedestrian crosswalk on Moorpark at Irvine Ave (click map). This falls under the jurisdiction of our Council District 2 office, lead by Councilmember Paul Krekorian.

We are asking the Team Reed community to take action by contacting Mr Krekorian’s office to bring this matter to his attention and ask for his support to secure a crossing guard before and after school.

Use this email template that you can simply copy and paste, then email to the CD2 office at paul.krekorian@lacity.org Or feel free to write your own version.

If you have any questions please do reach out to us at info@teamreed.org Let’s make this happen!
